Lazaridis set for Adelaide United
Stan Lazaridis will fly into Adelaide next week for talks about joining A-League club Adelaide United.
Lazaridis, 33, first came to prominence playing with West Adelaide in the old NSL and has been deemed surplus to requirements at relegated English Premier League club Birmingham City.
"Lazaridis is on the (transfer) list and how far we go with it depends on (Adelaide) manager John Kosmina," Birmingham chief executive Michael Petrillo said.
Lazaridis, who has played 222 games for Birmingham since joining from West Ham in 1999, will reportedly fly to Australia on Tuesday.
Birmingham is jettisoning several players to trim its wage bill in preparation for Championship football next season.
