Baghdatis confident of Open success
Roger Federer is already being described as the greatest tennis player ever - but he faces a man who has no lack of self-belief.
Cypriot sensation Marcos Baghdatis is a cavalier character with a swashbuckling take on tennis - but beneath the good humour is a confident base.
These are the things Roger Federer needs to watch out for, according to Baghdatis.
"I'm really quick on my feet, I mean, I move really well on the court.
"I have a great eye, I see the ball very fast.
"I can adapt to any players, any style of play. I think that's my game, adapting to all the players.
"I have maybe all the shots."
While he doesn't dismiss his own chances Baghdatis is quick to acknowledge Federer's strengths as well.
"First of all he's playing really well on important points, he's playing amazing," he said.
"Every time he has important points he just serves so well, he's tactically so (good).
"He reads the game very well, he's so fast, he has everything also."
Now he's in the final as the surprise package of the tournament, Baghdatis rates his chances highly of staging an upset.
"Every match is different, every day is different. I believe in it, my coach does, everyone in my corner does.
"So I give myself a big chance," he said.
Federer and Baghdatis have played three times, with the Swiss No.1 winning each time.
The first meeting, at the US Open in 2004, was the only time the Cypriot claimed a set.
Federer won in three straightforward sets at the Australian Open last year and this year in Doha he beat Baghdatis 6-4 6-3 in the quarter-finals.
