Price wins Kangaroos recall
Prop Steve Price has won a recall to Australia's Test side for the Tri Nations rugby league final against New Zealand at Elland Road.
Coach Wayne Bennett finalised his 17-man squad after the team's final training session, cutting Penrith back-rower Trent Waterhouse and Wests Tigers scrum utility Scott Prince from his plans.
Price missed the Kangaroos Tri Nations Test win over Great Britain at Hull last weekend but the physical nature of the final against the Kiwis has seen him preferred over Waterhouse.
Meanwhile, New Zealand receive a lift with champion half back Stacey Jones' returning to camp from Auckland where he attended the birth of his third child.
Winds, sleet and snow have been forecast for the final.
Australia could play New Zealand on a field of snow in Sunday morning's (AEDT) Tri Nations rugby league final at Elland Road with weather forecasters predicting rain, sleet and snow to hit Leeds at the weekend.
The Kangaroos have finalised their 17-man squad with CRAIG GOWER and Craig Wing both proving their fitness and prop Steve Price winning a recall at the expense of Penrith forward Trent Waterhouse.
Coach Wayne Bennett says the players can't do much to combat the icy cold conditions which he says will not favour either side.
The Kiwis meanwhile have been buoyed by the return to camp of their match-winning halfback Stacey Jones, who has been in Auckland this week for the birth of his third child.AAP
