Prince the hero again for Wests Tigers
Scott Prince produced another piece of late brilliance to pilot Wests Tigers back into the top eight and confirm the only predictable thing in the NRL after four rounds is its unpredictability.
Wests turned the NRL on its head for the second week in succession with a 32-26 win over the Sydney Roosters at Aussie Stadium - only seven days after they stunned last year's premiers, the Bulldogs.
Prince - who kicked the matchwinning field goal against the 'Dogs - was the hero again, this time spearing over with nine minutes remaining to break a 26-26 deadlock.
"It was very similar time to last week against the Bulldogs," Prince said.
"It was a great feeling to win the game. The self-belief within the team is unbelievable."
The Tigers played gung-ho attacking football, using an expansive game to compensate for their lack of forward size.
It worked a treat.
Prince and five-eighth Benji Marshall controlled the game and their outside backs put the finishing touches on their good work.
"They're a big side, a strong side," coach Tim Sheens said.
"You can't expect to run over them. We have to use the skill in the side - use a little bit of pace and skill on the edges.
