Hewitt survives scare
Lleyton Hewitt has bounced back from an early scare to win his second round match at the Australian Open against American James Blake.
Blake won the first set and Hewitt was set point down in the second before recovering to win it in a tie-breaker.
The Australian dominated the third set before closing out the match to win 4-6 7-6 6-0 6-3 and set up a third round date with Argentine Juan Ignacio Chela.
Fellow Australian Alicia Molik is next up on Rod Laver Arena for her second round match against Japanese qualifier Aiko Nakamura.
And men's No.2 seed Andy Roddick is also playing - up against Briton Greg Rusedski.
Seeds to advance to the third round at Melbourne Park included women's top seed Lindsay Davenport and Venus Williams of the US, and Briton Tim Henman and David Nalbandian of Argentina in the men's singles.
