Hewitt headlines Aussie hopefuls
Australian No.4 seed Lleyton Hewitt will renew hostilities with Argentine foe Juan Ignacio Chela in the second round of the Australian Open in Melbourne.
Hewitt highlights a big day for local players on day four of the grand slam tennis tournament with all four remaining Australian singles representatives involved in second round action.
Hewitt's centre court clash with Chela is a rematch of their controversial third-round meeting at the Open last year in which Chela was fined $3000 for spitting in the Australian's direction.
Hewitt prevailed in that encounter and went on to reach the final of the 2005 tournament.
The last remaining Australian woman in the singles, Samantha Stosur, will be first on court on Rod Laver Arena on Friday morning (11am AEDT) against Serbian 21st seed Ana Ivanovic.
Unseeded Aussie men Peter Luczak and Nathan Healey are also in action.
Luczak plays 24th seed Olivier Rochus of Belgium, while Healey tackles unseeded American Amer Delic.
Men's top seed Roger Federer and women's No.2 seed Kim Clijsters also play second round matches.
Swiss Roger Federer resumes his Open campaign against unseeded German Florian Mayer, while Clijsters plays China's Yuan Meng.
