Fleming set to join team
New Zealand cricket captain Stephen Fleming has recovered sufficiently from illness to be cleared to rejoin the Black Caps in Australia.
Fleming, who has been suffering from a mystery illness contracted in Bangladesh last month, will arrive in Sydney Saturday afternoon before the two-Test trans-Tasman series.
Team officials expect the tall left-handed batsman to be fit for the first Test against Australia, starting in Brisbane on Thursday.
All-rounder Scott Styris has stood in Fleming's place in the current tour match against NSW at the SCG.
