Puletua in doubt for Manly game
Penrith will regain one international forward but could lose another for Saturday night's NRL game against Manly at Penrith Stadium.
Kangaroos prop Joel Clinton will return to the Panthers' front row after missing the club's loss to the Bulldogs on Friday night through suspension.
However, Kiwi Test forward Tony Puletua is in grave doubt for the game after damaging a muscle in his right leg in the opening half of Friday night's match.
Puletua underwent scans and is expected to receive the results on Friday.
"He's got a tear in the muscle," a Penrith spokesman said.
"He's doubtful for this week."
Puletua's New Zealand teammate Joe Galuvao could also make a surprise return after missing the loss to the `Dogs with a fractured rib.
The Panthers need to beat the resurgent Sea Eagles to ensure they remain in the top four, with Melbourne breathing down their neck and North Queensland surging towards a maiden finals appearance.
The Storm emerged unscathed from the loss to the Sydney Roosters, with prop Robbie Kearns making a surprise return from an eye injury.
Late last week Kearns, still suffering double vision in his left eye, was resigned to missing the match at Olympic Park.
