IOC gives thumbs up to Athens
Three months before the start of the 2004 Olympics in Athens, IOC officials have issued a rare vote of confidence, saying they're optimistic preparations will be ready on time.
All doubts have now disappeared according to IOC senior inspector Denis Oswald.
At the end of his 12th and final inspection visit, Oswald declared no single project is at risk and everything will be delivered on time.
He says Athens now needs to focus on the operation of the Games from August 13-29.
