We won't ease up against India: Ponting
Australian captain Ricky Ponting has urged his players not to ease up against India in the fourth match of the seven-game series at Chandigarh's Sector 16 Stadium on Monday.
The tourists lead 2-0 following the washed-out opening game and victory in the city on the Punjab border will put them in an unbeatable position.
Ponting felt his men had let the foot off the gas in Friday's 47-run win in Hyderabad after having the home side in dire straits at 3-13 in their pursuit of 291 for victory.
"I actually had a chat to the guys coming off the field from the last game about the way we finished the game off the other day, I was a little bit disappointed," he said.
"I thought we got a little bit lazy and a little bit slack and that is something which tends to creep in when we do have teams on the back foot early.
"We just sort of sit back after having them three or four down and let the game peter out instead of really putting our foot down and jumping on that.
The Australian team will be announced just before the game with seamer Nathan Bracken set to return and selectors tipped to keep faith in Brad Hodge over Brad Haddin.
