Aussie cricket team aiming to rebound
The Australian cricket team will be aiming to rebound quickly for the fifth match in the seven-game one-day series against India at Vadodara.
The tourists lead the series 2-1 after the opening match was washed out in Bangalore and will take an unbeatable lead if they win.
But the home side will be brimming with confidence following Monday's eight-run victory at Chandigarh's Sector 16 Stadium.
Australian captain Ricky Ponting said his side was ready to respond to the Indian challenge.
"India will take a lot out of that game and we have to respond now and get back up and make sure we start the next game off well," he said.
Australian paceman Brett Lee said the tourists must get the basics right in Vadodara after conceding a whopping 31 runs in wides in Chandigarh.
"They have been on a bit of roll since the Twenty20 championship," Lee said.
"We have to make sure we go back to what we are doing best and that is bowling the right lines, the things that let us down were our wides and our extras and just falling short of the mark in the batting."
The Australian team will have the chance to iron out any kinks at a full training session on Wednesday.
The weather bureau has predicted there is a chance of light showers late on Thursday at the Reliance Cricket Ground.
