McEwen wins Swiss stage, Schleck in lead
Australia's Robbie McEwen of the Predictor team won the fifth stage of the Tour of Switzerland on Wednesday.
The 35-year-old from Brisbane beat Italy's Daniele Bennati and Germany's Erik Zabel in a sprint finish to the stage from Vaduz in Liechtenstein to Giubiasco.
Luxembourg's Fraenk Schleck of the CSC team retained the overall lead of the nine-day race.
Thursday's 190.8-km sixth stage is from Giubiasco to Crans Montana and ends with a 10-km climb to the finish.
