Kirsipuu wins Tour de France first stage
Estonian veteran sprinter Jaan Kirsipuu won the first stage of the 91st edition of the Tour de France after a bunch sprint to the finish line of the 202.5km stage from Liege to Charleroi.
The AG2R sprinter came over the line ahead of Lotto rider Robbie McEwen of Australia and Norwegian Thor Hushovd of the Credit Agricole team and was given the win after a photo finish decision.
