Blues regain big men for AFL final
Carlton regained some badly-needed height with the inclusion of Michael Jamison and Bret Thornton for Sunday's AFL elimination final against Essendon.
The Blues also brought back midfielders Andrew Carrazzo and David Ellard for the clash against their fierce rivals.
The Bombers made two changes, recalling midfielder Heath Hocking and veteran defender Dustin Fletcher as expected.
Carlton suffered a major blow on Thursday when ruckman Matthew Kreuzer was ruled out with a foot injury.
They also could not consider key forward Jarrad Waite as he continues to recover from hip surgery.
The Blues dropped Jordan Russell, Kane Lucas and Zach Tuohy.
Jamison was rested from last week's loss to St Kilda with soreness, while Carrazzo had hurt his neck in a car accident.
Essendon lost Andrew Welsh with a knee injury and dropped young key defender Cale Hooker.
