Bulls come from behind to beat Chiefs
The Bulls produced an outstanding second-half performance to beat the Waikato Chiefs 43-27 in Super Rugby on Saturday.
After dominating the opening 15 minutes at Loftus Versfeld, the Bulls found themselves 20-13 down by halftime, with Mils Muliaina and Brendon Leonard scoring tries for the Chiefs.
But the home side stunned the Chiefs with three converted tries in six minutes at the start of the second half.
Center Wynand Olivier dotted down twice and there were tries from replacement wing Gerhard van den Heever and No.8 Pierre Spies.
Bulls five-eighth Morne Steyn added three second-half conversions and three penalties to his first-half haul of a penalty, conversion and drop goal, to finish with 23 points.
