Surgery for Jolly, Hall
Collingwood ruckman Darren Jolly and Western Bulldogs forward Barry Hall have both had minor surgery.
Jolly had an operation on his knee which is expected to sideline him for a fortnight.
But with the Magpies having a bye after Sunday's match against the Bulldogs, the big man might return for their following game.
That is the much-anticipated May 13 clash with Geelong, with the top-placed Magpies and second-placed Cats currently the AFL's only unbeaten sides.
Jolly had played 142 consecutive matches before missing Collingwood's round four clash with Richmond with the knee injury.
He returned for Monday's Anzac Day win over Essendon, before opting to have the knee cleaned out.
Hall had ankle surgery, wiping him out of Sunday's match against the Magpies.
It also puts him in doubt for the following weekend's game against his former club Sydney, to be played in Canberra.
