Bunnies re-sign Farrell
South Sydney wrapped up another piece of their future on Friday, re-signing gun centre Dylan Farrell until the end of the 2013 season.
Just two days after inspirational hooker Issac Luke signed a four-year deal with the Rabbitohs, the club added Farrell's name to their books long-term.
The 19-year-old scored a hat-trick of tries in a stunning debut against the Wests Tigers last season and has earned a starting spot in the centres in 2011 alongside star signing Greg Inglis.
"I'm really happy that I'll be at the Rabbitohs for at least the next two seasons," Farrell said.
"I've looked up to some of the senior players such as Rhys Wesser, Greg Inglis and John Sutton and to get to play alongside them in the red and green is fantastic."
Chief executive Shane Richardson was pleased to have retained the exciting youngster.
"He has a mature head on his shoulders and were sure he will reach the highest levels in the game," Richardson said.
"The signing of both Dylan and Issac Luke yesterday have been big priorities for the club and we're looking forward to seeing them flourish with South Sydney over the coming seasons."
