Dragons, Dogs head back to SCG
St George Illawarra have moved their NRL heritage round clash with Canterbury to the SCG.
The Dragons have been forced to relocate the round five clash from WIN Jubilee Oval because of delays in building works.
The match was to be the premiers' first at home in 2011.
"It is unfortunate that we are not going to be able to play this game at WIN Jubilee Oval as planned but these circumstances are unavoidable," Dragons chief executive Peter Doust said.
"We had deliberately asked the NRL to schedule us away for the opening five rounds as these were timelines that were established by the project management team.
"There were complications with the project due to a number of factors including material shortages brought about by the natural disasters that affected Queensland and Victoria."
The $13 million upgrade to WIN Jubilee Oval includes a new northern grandstand, new dressing rooms and a museum.
The Dragons' other home venue, WIN Stadium in Wollongong, is currently undergoing $30 million worth of upgrades with the construction of a new western grandstand.
