Cloke to stay at Collingwood
Collingwood premiership forward Travis Cloke has accepted a two-year deal to stay with the AFL club.
Cloke's father and manager David Cloke had on Monday threatened to put his 23-year-old son into next month's national draft if a suitable deal could not be agreed upon.
The big left-footer has played 124 games and kicked 155 goals.
He has played 94 of a possible 100 matches since the start of the 2007 season, winning the Copeland Trophy that year as a 20-year-old.
The 196cm forward kicked 38 goals in 2010.
"I'm really happy to put this behind me and know that I will be at the club for another two years," Cloke said on Wednesday.
"Playing in the 2010 premiership was the best thing I've ever experienced in my football career, so now to be able to focus on trying to achieve more success at this great club is something I'm extremely excited about."
