Rangers to inspire Hayne Plane
Parramatta superstar Jarryd Hayne can perfect his new Hayne Plane post-try celebration when the Glasgow Rangers soccer team train at Parramatta Stadium on Friday.
Rangers are in Sydney for the four-team Festival of Football and Hayne recently said his new arms-outstretched move had been inspired by big-time soccer.
"I'd dare say Haynesy will probably come down, he loves it," Eels team-mate Ben Smith said on Thursday.
"He's always playing the (Playstation) PS3, he lives on it, and he always watches the soccer and the World Cup and all that sort of stuff.
"He's got the soccer ball out here all the time at training mucking round, thinks he's Ronaldinho.
"(The post-try celebration) is from that."
The Eels will have their final training session on Friday ahead of Saturday's blockbuster against the Sydney Roosters.
