North Melbourne re-sign Ziebell
North Melbourne have secured talented young midfielder Jack Ziebell for another three years.
The 19-year-old says the decision to stay at Arden Street after the 2010 season was an easy one to make.
"There was really no question in my mind," Ziebell told the club's website.
"North Melbourne is where I want to play my football.
"The club has taken significant steps on and off the field and the group we have at the club is amazingly talented.
"I want us all to stick together because I believe we could be heading towards something pretty special in the near future."
Ziebell was North Melbourne's first round draft selection at the 2008 National Draft, after surprisingly slipping through to pick nine.
The 188cm youngster says signing his contract early in the year will enable him to concentrate solely on football.
"I don't have to think about it now and I can just get on with playing well for the club and our supporters," he said.
Ziebell averaged 15.5 touches last year before his season came to a premature end after he broke his leg following a courageous dive at the ball against Adelaide in round 12.
