Lions' utility to quit at season's end
Brisbane utility Tim Notting has announced he will retire from playing at the end of the club's AFL finals campaign.
Notting, 30, has played 207 matches for the Lions in a 13-year career, including two grand final wins in 2001 and 2002.
Notting did not play in the Lions' remarkable come-from-behind elimination final win over Carlton last weekend and hasn't featured in the senior side since round 20.
But the club said Notting would be available for selection for Friday night's semi-final against the Western Bulldogs at the MCG.
