West Coast re-sign Priddis for two years
West Coast have shored up their midfield stocks by re-signing midfielder Matt Priddis until the end of the 2011 AFL season.
Priddis, the club's leading disposal winner this season, has played 61 games for the club since being elevated off the rookie list in 2006.
The 24-year-old is now considered one of West Coast's most important onballers following the departures of Chris Judd and Ben Cousins.
Priddis said he was thrilled to pen a new two-year deal.
"It's great to have locked away a new contract," Priddis said.
"I think everyone at the club is pretty excited about what the future holds and I want to be a part of that.
"We have some very talented young players on the way up and we are all looking forward to challenging for a position in the finals and building from there."
Priddis, who is part of the club's leadership group, has averaged 25 possessions and six tackles a game this year.
He has missed just six games in the past three seasons.
The Eagles will be aiming to make it three wins on the trot when they tackle North Melbourne at Subiaco Oval on Saturday.
