Menzies on mend after swine flu scare
Bradford forward Steve Menzies looks set to play in this weekend's Super League clash against Harlequins after a suspected swine flu scare.
Bulls prop Sam Burgess told the Bradford Telegraph & Argus on Tuesday: "He was a bit poorly but he's on the medication now and says he is getting better.
"I think he will be all right for next week and we'll just wait and see.
"I don't think it got passed on. No one else was feeling bad on the way back and no one signed in sick yesterday so hopefully it has just been 'Beaver' affected."
Menzies was isolated from the other Bulls players ahead of last Saturday's engage Super League win at Celtic Crusaders after displaying symptoms and was sent home on the reserve team bus.
It is thought the 36-year-old is the first Super League player to have contracted the virus but he is now recovering well and the rest of the squad seem to have avoided it.
