St Kilda's Baker hit by pub patron
St Kilda tagger Steven Baker has been hit by a hotel patron while visiting his hometown in regional Victoria during the AFL club's mid-season break.
Baker was out with family and friends at a Colac hotel over the weekend when another customer approached and struck him, the Saints said in a statement.
The club said they believed Baker's version of events and understood it was a "minor" incident which did not require police involvement.
Baker was not injured and will play against Richmond at Etihad Stadium on Sunday, the Saints said.
