Priddis signs with Dragons for 2009
Penrith veteran Luke Priddis has been thrown an NRL lifeline and will join St George Illawarra on a two-year deal from next season.
Priddis, 31, will reunite with his former Brisbane Broncos coach Wayne Bennett at the Dragons next year in what will be his 13th season in first grade.
Priddis has played 279 NRL games already after making his debut for Canberra in 1997 and will bring valuable experience to the Dragons next year.
"Luke is a mature and experienced campaigner who will be a great asset to our club both on and off the field," said Dragons chief executive Peter Doust.
"He has represented his country, won premierships and will be a great influence and role model for our younger players."
