Pies could go tall against Swans

Collingwood will consider using three ruckmen to stretch Sydney in Saturday night's crucial round 14 AFL game at ANZ Stadium.

The Magpies could select Josh Fraser to return from injury and play alongside Chris Bryan and Cameron Wood, with one of that trio to be used as a key forward.

The Magpies have to restructure their forward line following the loss of tall forwards Anthony Rocca and Ben Reid, who are unlikely to play again this season because of leg injuries.

Collingwood assistant coach Brad Scott said the club would consider using one of the three ruckmen in attack, alongside centre half-forward Travis Cloke, who is available after suspension.

Fraser is a strong chance to return from the knee injury which kept him out of the round 13 defeat to the Western Bulldogs.

But small forward Leon Davis remains in some doubt to return, because of an ankle problem.

Fullback Shane Wakelin should also be available after overcoming an illness.

Collingwood have a good recent record against the Swans, having won the past four games between the sides and their past two at ANZ Stadium.

They will hope to continue that good run to close between them (seventh) and the fourth-placed Swans.
