Stokes pulls out of Cats side
Small forward Mathew Stokes has pulled out of Geelong's side for the Saturday night clash against Sydney at the SCG.
The Cats' twitter feed reported on Friday afternoon that Stokes had neck soreness.
First-year player Allen Christensen, who was originally dropped for the game, will take Stokes' place in the side and Tom Gillies was added to their emergencies.
The Cats and Swans, along with top side Collingwood, are the only teams yet to lose after three rounds this season.
Geelong have opened with three-straight wins while Sydney beat West Coast in a classic last weekend.
The Swans started with a draw against Melbourne and then narrowly beat Essendon in round two.
