Hurricanes lose hard man Collins
Hurricanes hard man Jerry Collins will not see out the team's South African Super 14 rugby program which ends this week with a match against the Cheetahs.
The blindside flanker suffered bruised ribs against the Bulls and left the field just after halftime in the next match against the Stormers last weekend.
Hurricanes manager Tony Ward told the Dominion Post that Collins' ribs were not broken, but were "extremely uncomfortable" after he aggravated the injury against the Stormers.
Collins was to have boarded a flight home on Monday.
