Aussie triathletes sweep titles
Australians Courtney Atkinson and Emma Snowsill swept the triathlon titles at the Makuhari World Cup in Japan.
Atkinson ran down world No.2 Andrew Johns on the 10km run to win in one hour, 47 minutes, 17 seconds, and lead home fellow Australian Bryce Quirk (1:47.27) and Britain's Johns (1:47.32).
Snowsill led an Australian 1-2-3 finish in her first World Cup victory.
She was among the leaders after the swim, broke away with former world champion Loretta Harrop during the cycle leg, then left behind Harrop after two laps in the run to win well clear in 1:56:58.
Harrop was second and Rina Hill third.
