Stress fracture sidelines Waite again
Another stress fracture will restrict Jarrad Waite's AFL pre-season until Christmas.
Tests revealed a stress fracture in the Carlton youngster's lower right leg and he will be sidelined for the next six weeks, with the leg in a support boot for three weeks.
Waite also missed the first 10 weeks of the 2004 season because of a stress fracture.
He had impressed in last month's International Rules matches against Ireland.
"Jarrad's injury became apparent on his return to our pre-Christmas training following the International Rules Series," said Blues football manager Grant Williams.
