Tszyu still undecided about career
Kosta Tszyu will not return to the ring before the middle of next year at the earliest, if he does decide to fight on.
The Russian-born Tszyu, who returned home after holidaying in the country of his birth, has still to decide whether to continue his career after losing his IBF junior welterweight title to Britain's Ricky Hatton in Manchester last June.
While in Russia, Tszyu said he had been offered an acting role in a movie.
"One of the best Russian actors has offered me a role in one of his movies, but I want to see the exact details of it and then I may consider doing it, because it's something different," Tszyu said.
"I've done an advertising campaign before but not an actual movie, and I'm going to be one of the main characters."
Tszyu said he would happily fight again if he was mentally ready to do so, but reiterated it would hinge on whether he found anything to replace the excitement of boxing.
He said he wanted to make the right decision and not change his mind a few days later.
"Even if I made the decision right now, I'm not going to prepare and not going to fight till the middle of next year," Tszyu said.
"I'll put this on hold to see my feelings better."
He will spend much of October travelling around Australia promoting "Fighting Fit", a combined book/DVD package, launched in Sydney next week.
