Indian spinner Anil Kumble says his side is thinking of using three spinners in the first cricket Test against Australia beginning at Bangalore on Wednesday.

Kumble says the dry pitch at Chinnaswamy Stadium is going to spin a long way from early in the match and he's likely to be joined in the Indian side by fellow slow bowlers Harbhajan Singh and Murali Kartik.

Australia is still planning to use Shane Warne as the only full-time spinner with fast bowlers Glenn McGrath, Jason Gillespie and Michael Kasprowicz.

Neither team has confirmed its starting XI yet.
