Ganguly recalled for Pakistan Test
Indian cricket selectors have recalled former captain Sourav Ganguly for next month's Test series in Pakistan, 10 days after his abrupt axing caused an uproar in the cricket-mad nation.
The 33-year-old left-hander, plagued by poor batting form and fitness, was dropped for the third and final Test against the visiting Sri Lanka, which India won to claim the series 2-0.
India are scheduled to play three Test matches followed by five one-dayers in Pakistan.
India's Test squad: Rahul Dravid (capt), Virender Sehwag (vice-capt), Gautam Gambhir, Wasim Jaffer, Sachin Tendulkar, Venkatsai Laxman, Yuvraj Singh, Sourav Ganguly, Mahendra Dhoni, Parthiv Patel, Irfan Pathan, Zaheer Khan, Ajit Agarkar, Rudra Pratap Singh, Anil Kumble, Harbhajan Singh.
