Kelly takes time trial silver
Australia's Shane Kelly has won the silver medal in the 1000m time trial at the world track cycling championships in Germany.
Kelly clocked a time of 1:01.356 seconds to finish second behind Germany's Stefan Nimke who recorded 1:01.225.
World record holder Arnaud Tournant from France was third in 1:01.644.
Australian Ben Kersten finished fifth in a time of 1:02.007.
Kelly won world titles in the time trial in 1995, 1996 and 1997, silver in 1993, 1998 and 1999 and bronze in 1994 and last year.
