Kemp to keep coaching Warriors
Tony Kemp has signed on for a further two years as the New Zealand Warriors' head coach.
A spokesman for the National Rugby League club confirmed the deal was done Thursday night, but an announcement was delayed as the Warriors were travelling to Melbourne for the match against the Storm.
Kemp had been head coach Daniel Anderson's assistant and took over Anderson's job until the end of the season when the Australian resigned recently following several losses. They are now at the bottom of the competition.
Kemp's appointment for another two years came only a day after the club announced their star player Stacey Jones would complete his contract with the club at the end of the 2006 season after weeks of speculation that he was to sever ties the club soon.
