Kiwis have edge in experience
Australia must overcome a massive gulf in experience to maintain trans-Tasman rugby league supremacy against New Zealand at Aussie Stadium.
The new-look Australian team, featuring four Test rookies, is almost four times less experienced as a unit than the Kiwis.
The Australians have played 73 Tests between them, while New Zealand coach Daniel Anderson has deliberately settled on an experienced line-up featuring a mammoth 240 Test caps.
With 17 caps to his name, Australian captain Andrew Johns has played the most internationals for the Kangaroos - but seven players in the visiting squad have made more Test appearances.
Australia hasn't lost a Test against New Zealand on home soil since 1991.
