NZ ousts Aussies from World Cup final
Australia has suffered a heart-breaking defeat to trans-Tasman rugby rivals New Zealand to be knocked out of the Under 19 World Cup.
With scores locked 25-all at the end of the game, and both sides having scored the same number of converted tries, the match was forced to penalty kicks from the 22m line.
New Zealand won the penalty kicks 4-2 to win through to the World Cup final where they will meet hosts South Africa in a repeat of the 2003 IRB Under-19 World Championship final.
South Africa beat England with a superb defensive effort to keep their title hopes alive.
