Sonny Bill Williams caught speeding
The Bulldogs confirmed on Friday night that troubled second-rower Sonny Bill Williams was caught speeding earlier this week.
A Bulldogs official told AAP Williams received a speeding ticket for travelling at 60km/h in a 40km/h zone.
The official said the club would be making no statement on Friday night and Williams would be taking the field against Parramatta at Telstra Stadium.
The speeding ticket follows a string of off-field incidents this year for spotlighted superstar Williams - who turned 22 on Friday.
Earlier this month, he was involved in an altercation with a photographer in which a camera was smashed and, on the same weekend, was allegedly ejected from a nightclub.
Last month, Williams swore off alcohol, saying he needed "drastic measures" to help him deal with drinking after police fined him for urinating in public.
Earlier this year, he was snapped on a phone camera in a toilet cubicle with ironwoman Candice Falzon at the Clovelly Hotel.
Williams also had his licence suspended for five months in 2005 for drink driving.
The New Zealand international has so far escaped any sanction from the Bulldogs for any of this year's incidents.
