European giants target Viduka
Leeds United's Australian striker Mark Viduka is the target of Barcelona, Roma, AC Milan and Bayern Munich.
Leeds chairman John McKenzie has consistently said Viduka is the one player not for sale as the 27-year-old is the spearhead of manager Peter Reid's plans for next season.
But Viduka's representative, Andrea D'Amico, said he had talked to Barca, Roma, Milan and Bayern.
"We are working very hard to find a good option for the player and at the right moment we can have a meeting with Leeds and we can go on or not with the deal," said D'Amico.
Viduka was signed for STG6 million ($A15 million) from Scottish side Celtic in 2000 but agreed to a new, five-year contract in 2001 which runs to 2006.
He scored 20 goals in the English Premier League last season.
"Mark is one of the best scorers in the world. He has a lot of experience, so Barcelona and some top Italian clubs are interested," D'Amico said.
"Roma are interested in Mark because (coach Fabio) Capello likes him very much, and we have talked with AC Milan.
"They wanted to sign a contract two years ago. They have a lot of money and maybe they need a striker like Mark.
"We are also in contact with Bayern Munich and I think that if they cannot sign Roy Makaay we can have an option for Mark."
