Injured Vatuvei to miss two NRL weeks
The Warriors' hopes of hosting an NRL home semi-final were dealt a blow on Tuesday with bullocking winger Manu Vatuvei ruled out out for the remainder of the regular season.
Vatuvei will miss clashes against St George Illawarra and North Queensland with a wrist injury, picked up in Saturday's 20-12 victory over Penrith.
Coach Ivan Cleary called upon former Kiwi international Krisnan Inu for Sunday's match against the Dragons.
The Warriors moved into fourth spot on the ladder with victory over the Panthers, ahead of the Cowboys on points differential, but with a tough fortnight ahead the Warriors will need at least one more victory to ensure a crucial home final.
Cleary hoped the two week break would be enough for Vatuvei to be fully fit in time for the finals.
