Warriors flyer Vatuvei out for 4-6 weeks
The Kiwis will be without one of their main attacking weapons in next month's Centenary rugby league Test against Australia after winger Manu Vatuvei was sidelined for up six weeks.
The powerful, try-scoring New Zealand Warriors winger has a fracture in one of his main bones in the left leg and has been told he'll be out of action between four and six weeks.
Vatuvei suffered the injury in Sunday's 36-24 NRL loss to the Titans in the Gold Coast.
A Warriors spokesman said Vatuvei had an x-ray after the match and described the injury as a "spiral fracture of the left fibula".
Vatuvei, 22, collapsed in pain towards the end of the match after scoring a try and later limped off the field as the Warriors continued to lose games away from home.
The Kiwis are expected to be named next weekend.
