McCaw back to lead Crusaders
All Blacks captain Richie McCaw has been named to return from injury and lead the Crusaders in their Super Rugby semi-final against the Stormers in Cape Town.
McCaw has been sidelined since the narrow loss to the Queensland Reds in Brisbane on May 29 due to foot pain after surgery for a stress fracture.
But he has been given the all-clear to start Saturday's match as openside flanker ahead of Matt Todd.
Also cleared from injury is No.8 Kieran Read, who hurt an ankle in last weekend's semi-final qualifier against the Sharks in Nelson but played on.
The addition of McCaw is the only change to the team which beat the Sharks 36-8 last weekend.
Hooker Corey Flynn will celebrate his 100th game for the Crusaders in this weekend's match.
Team: Tom Marshall, Sean Maitland, Robbie Fruean, Sonny Bill Williams, Zac Guildford, Dan Carter, Andy Ellis, Kieran Read, Richie McCaw (capt), George Whitelock, Sam Whitelock, Brad Thorn, Owen Franks, Corey Flynn, Wyatt Crockett. Res: Quentin MacDonald, Ben Franks, Luke Romano, Matt Todd, Kahn Foutali'i, Matt Berquist, Ryan Crotty.
