QRL announce Livermore replacement
The Queensland Rugby League has appointed former employee and Valleys forward Robert Moore as the successor to long-term managing director Ross Livermore.
Livermore will stand down at the end of July after 30 years in the position.
Moore worked previously for the QRL as educational development manager and is currently the deputy director-general for sport and recreation services with the Queensland government.
"It's a real honour to be appointed to this position," said Moore, 51.
"I am looking forward to continuing the fine work that has been achieved over the years and further strengthening rugby league in Queensland from grassroots footy to the highest level."
