Payten, Schirnack to miss Tigers NRL clash
Wests Tigers injury crisis has deepened with forwards Todd Payten and Alan Schirnack ruled out of Friday night's NRL clash with Brisbane at the Sydney Football Stadium.
Both players suffered injuries against the Gold Coast last Friday, with veteran Payten to miss two games with a right ankle problem.
Schirnack damaged the AC joint in his left shoulder, but at this stage he's only expected to miss the Broncos match.
Tigers centre Geoff Daniela underwent surgery last Friday on his torn pectoral muscle, with his return date still unknown.
Halfback Robert Lui (ankle), winger Lote Tuqiri (arm), centre Chris Lawrence (hip) are the big names already sidelined for extended periods.
However, in some good news, the Tigers will hope to welcome back Liam Fulton (shoulder) and Keith Galloway (groin) for the showdown with the Broncos.
