Demons told to knuckle down
Melbourne coach Dean Bailey is demanding much better work from his players at the clearances in Sunday's AFL match against Brisbane.
The Demons' inability to win the contested ball was a big factor in their alarming third quarter fade out against Hawthorn last Sunday.
The Hawks kicked 8 goals 11 for the quarter and it was only their inaccuracy that saved Melbourne from a final margin much greater than 46 points.
Bailey is forecasting a couple of personnel changes and added that players already in the side would need to train well on Friday to avoid being dropped.
Bailey said Jordan Gysberts and Austin Wonaeamirri were strong chances to come into the senior side.
