Travis Tuck misses rookie list spot
Ruckman Paul Johnson has claimed the final berth on Hawthorn's rookie list for the upcoming AFL season.
Johnson was preferred ahead of the untried Nathan Ahmat-Watkins and Travis Tuck, who last year became the first player to record three strikes under the AFL's illicit drugs policy after testing positive to GBH.
He was suspended for 12 matches.
Tuck, the son of games record holder Michael Tuck, was dropped from Hawthorn's senior list, but given the chance to compete for the last remaining rookie berth.
Johnson had previously played with West Coast and Melbourne before being delisted by the Demons at the end of 2010.
