Force's Sidey gets three week suspension
Western Force utility back Rory Sidey has been suspended for three weeks after a dangerous tackle during his side's Super Rugby match against the Sharks on Saturday.
Sidey was shown a straight red card for the 18th minute tackle on Sharks winger, Odwa Ndungane.
The Force went on to lose the match 39-12.
SANZAR judicial officer Dennis Wheelahan QC heard the matter via conference call in Sydney on Monday and determined that Sidey should be suspended for three weeks as a consequence of his actions.
Sidey didn't contest that the tackle was dangerous.
