Racing fly-half Wisniewski out for 20 days
Racing-Metro fly-half Jonathan Wisniewski will miss the conclusion of the European Cup group stages after being banned for 20 days on Thursday for a dangerous tackle in a French Top 14 game.
Wisniewski was suspended for delivering a spear tackle on Argentina's Montpellier winger Martin Bustos Moyano and will be out of action until February 2, the French national league said.
Toulon's Jocelino Suta was also banned for 20 days for a dangerous tackle on Bayonne's Remy Martin.
Racing are currently in second place in Pool 2 of the European Cup, four points behind Leinster and tackle French champions Clermont on Friday.
They wind up their group campaign at home to Leinster on January 21.
