Teenager North to make Wales debut
Teenage wing George North will make his Wales debut against South Africa at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday after being named in the starting side.
The 18-year-old Scarlets wing, who stands at 6ft 4in tall and weighs nearly 17 stone, replaces Will Harries in one of three changes to the team that lost 25-16 to Australia at the Millennium last weekend.
Full-back Lee Byrne returns following a broken hand, allowing James Hook to move from the No 15 shirt into midfield where he will partner the experienced Tom Shanklin.
Up front, flanker Martyn Williams - who won his 97th cap off the bench against the Wallabies - starts in place of Sam Warburton after his Cardiff colleague was ruled out with a calf injury.
Ryan Jones returns among the replacements as does Wasps No 8 Andy Powell.
It will be Powell's first Wales match since he was suspended by his country during this year's Six Nations tournament following a bizarre drunken incident.
Hours after helping Wales complete a stunning comeback win over Scotland, he was arrested for driving a golf buggy towards a motorway while drunk.
Wales coach Warren Gatland recalled Powell for the tour of New Zealand but his hopes of participating in the Tests were ended by a thigh problem.
